Veloci Old Street V1.1 frameset - Metallic Silver Gray

$ 649.00 $ 729.00

Whether set up as a utilitarian commuter loaded up with racks, bags and fenders, fierce tracklocross monster, or with more-traditional track styling, Veloci Cycle's Old Street represents a perfect vision of the ideal multipurpose track frameset for today's riders.

Made of premium heat treated, double butted MKT cro-mo steel tubing that is ED coated inside and out before painting to prevent rust, combined with performance geometry and a refined color/decal scheme, the Old Street also features removable brake studs for cantilever or V brakes on both the frame and fork, internal top tube brake cable routing with caps that can be used when not running a rear brake, and clearance for 38mm tires.

Additionally, three sets of threaded mounts on the oval segmented fork legs make installation of various front rack models much easier, eliminating the need to mess around with P-clamps.

Proper preparation of a new frame is an essential part of building up any new bike.

This process typically involves facing and chasing the bottom bracket shell to clean the threads and remove any paint, clearcoat overspray, or internal frame coating buildup before installing a bottom bracket, as well as facing and reaming the head tube to remove any imperfections prior to headset installation.

These procedures require specialized tools, and can be performed by any reputable bike shop in your area.
